This “Most Improved” winner is
based on comparing the finishing times between 2005 and
2006 in the first event of urban Challenge – 1 Lap
Savannah.
This course is approximately 2.28
miles and it is the most consistent in terms of
measurement.
This category reflect the kind of
consistency and commitment that we hope participants in
CariFin will adopt as they take responsibility for their
own fitness and health.
The biggest mover in terms of
times/improvement in the women is Angel Barkley of
Republic Bank; she did a time of 3.28 to make the
biggest improvement to take the most improve athlete of
CariFin 2006… She would receive a trophy sponsored by
Woodford Café the number one eating place in Port of
Spain ( ….)
It would be interesting to ask Ms.
Barkley what in her training or outlook was responsible
for her improvement.
Mr. Clem Jubrasingh made a
massive leap in his performance this year a whopping
10.36 minutes on his 2005 time… form 29.28 to 18.52. (Of
course he was injured last year but showed the kind of
consistency and courage and still participated. In 2006
he was in better health and his performance reflected
it.
